We have been in this business on the Peninsula since 1982. We do not do construction ourselves, but we can refer you to contractors that we have worked with over the years. We have been doing structural engineering on the Peninsula since 1982. We have designed hundreds of new buildings, remodels, additions and structural home inspections. We are licensed and insured as civil and structural engineers. We also do expert witness work.
We are not contractors, although we work with and can refer you to contractors.
We work with and for building owners, architects and building design firms. We can prepare the entire building permit submittal package, but we are also glad to only do the structural portion of the package.
We are usually available to do inspections within two days of your phone call and often within one day. We can prepare structural plans in about a week for remodels if you have the architectural sheets done. It may take us a week to get to the work, though.
We will quote lump sum prices for projects or work on an hourly basis. Most clients want a lump sum price.
