By trade, Anitra Arcenaux is a marketing, design and public relations professional with nearly a decade of experience in the industry. By passion, Anitra is a cooking and party planning fanatic. Since 2008, Anitra and her partner Robert Schultz, have been cooking and planning for the Memphis community. Anitra is most proud of her ability to work within any budget to facilitate quality parties and events. In her spare time, Anitra likes to test and experiment with all types of recipes from cookbooks, product label recipes, and even recipes found on the internet. Her graphic design background allows her to see food as a canvas where she applies her artistic ability to food preparation. Her professional experience in the corporate world has trained her to be efficient in not only planning events and making them perfect, but improvising and being resourceful in any sticky situation.
Robert Schultz - Partner/Executive Chef
As an award winning Industrial Designer, Robert?s daily task is to create products that leave consumers with memorable experiences. After he leaves the office, he serves others as a volunteer coordinator at a Memphis community outreach program. Back in Texas, Robert was brought up in a family that loves great food and was taught early in life that cooking can be fun and rewarding. He never lost that passion for cooking and is always exploring new and different foods. One of his goals is to one day master every cuisine possible. He has now teamed up with Anitra Arcenaux to form Cuisine a la Porte, where he combines his understanding of consumer experiences with his heart for serving others and his passion for food to create the ultimate fine dining experience.
