The Unexpected Path serves parents who have drug or alcohol addicted children. Our main purpose is in helping the parent who is experiencing stress, overwhelm, emotional suffering, shame, guilt, isolation, etc, using life coaching strategies.
We believe that attending to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual areas, one can find healing and balance to produce the kinds of positive changes that can elevate an individual's sense of wellness, and well being so parents can regain a sense of self, and experience the unexpected joys that life has to offer them again.

The Unexpected Path is a privately owned business, formed for the purpose of supporting affected family members, namely mothers, fathers, and grandparents, through personal life coaching and connection with others; to lessen suffering; to eliminate isolation; invite spiritual wisdom.
Life Coaching is NOT a medical or therapeutic modality. Life coaching is a simply a process of inquiry between the coach and a client, with a purpose of supporting a client in questioning their own limiting beliefs and actions. Any advice asked for, offered or given is not a part of the coaching relationship. Any work that is suggested by the coach, is understood as completely arbitrary, and understood as a suggestion only.
