This removes the need to spend thousands in legal fees for court filings, affidavits, discovery processes and lawyer fees. Mediations typically run in half or full day intervals. Most disputes can be settled within just one session which also cuts down on the loss of time and wages from missed work generally associated with court cases. Mediation is less costly, less timely and the written agreement is 95% effective in completely resolving the issue for both parties concerned. A $50 consultation fee is required to determine if your case is appropriate for mediation. Mediation is best for small claims cases such as neighbor-to-neighbor, contract, family issues, custody/divorce, employee-to-employer, customer-to-vendor and misdemeanor criminal cases.
