I'm looking for students of all levels ages 6 and up--whether you've been playing for years or don't know a violin from a cupcake (it's been claimed!), I would love to work with you. I am a classically trained violinist of 19 years and have been teaching for the past 5. Also within the last 5 years, I have expanded my pallet to include many styles of music: rock, pop, experimental, improvisation, gypsy/circus, noise, fiddle, jazz...so after working on the basics of technique, I can help you play the music you want to play. I will work with you to design a unique program that best suits your abilities, interests, and style of choice.
I also offer basic music theory lessons and can incorporate as much or as little theory as you would like into your violin lesson.

Policies:
No-Show Policy I expect payment for the entire month at the first lesson of that month, but completely respect each person's different financial situation. So, if that is not comfortable for you, we can work something out. I require at least 24hrs notice of any cancellation, or payment for the missed lesson will be required. This, of course, excludes extenuating circumstances.
Cancellation Policy Should you need to cancel a lesson more than 24hrs beforehand, rescheduling is always an option - and ideal. If rescheduling the lesson is not possible for you, you will not be responsible for paying for the missed lesson. Due to my other work as a frequent performer, there may be occasions where I cannot make a lesson. I will follow the same cancellation policy and will always be willing to reschedule.
