At an early age, Paulo Diaz began violin lessons and eventually studied at the Conservatorio Nacional de M?sica in Lima, Per?. He received many awards at the conservatory as well as a scholarship to study in the United States at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. Mr. Diaz holds a Master of Music from the University of Miami. Mr. Diaz has been invited by the Conservatorio Nacional de Lima-Per? to give concerts, recitals and Master classes. In 2004, Paulo Diaz performed a violin recital in Lima sponsored by the Embassy of Italy in Per?.
Presently, Mr. Diaz is teaching at the Hess Conservatory of Music and Muse Center for the Arts and performs at various venues throughout the South Florida area.
This past summer (2009) Mr. Diaz won an orchestra position for violin at the distinguished summer music festival at Brevard Music Center, North Carolina. Last February, he performed for the Estefan family and music producer Timbaland.
He has become an acclaimed performer and is regularly in demand. Mr. Diaz performs on a violin by French violinmaker Ludovicus Guerfan. |
