Qualifications: Undergraduate with a Marine Biology major, have a year of tutoring experience, and a background in Computer Science. I'm familiar with and can help high school and college students who are struggling or want to get ahead in subjects such as Chemistry I & II, Physics I & II, and most of the standard math courses (the Algebras, Geometry, Statistics, Pre-Calc and Calc I, etc).
The Deal:
I do not charge per hour, but per session. A session is defined as the length of time it takes a student to come to grips with and demonstrate the ability to work relevant problems to topics themselves. This includes homework help and any additional problems they might need to run through until they comprehend the material. If time constraints cut a session short and the student has not completed their studies, the normal charge may be cut appropriately. Satisfaction is guaranteed; if the mentee does not feel they have learned anything, there is no charge. Without time constraints, sessions are generally unlimited in length until satisfied without a change in charge. This means that if a session takes an hour, great. If it takes three hours, so be it. What I value is the student, not the money.

Tutoring location is negotiable, but it would ideally take place at my residence. I do not have a car, and taking the bus would possibly place unwanted time restraints upon working time. However, I am not opposed to meeting at a student's residence or a local area where everyone would be comfortable.
