Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga
This is a slow paced class where students move into to asana?s and hold he postures for longer periods of time. More and more students of yoga are adding this challenging form of practice to their regular sadhana ( Sanskrit: spiritual practice). Student will find new depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, release of emotion, or an increased flow of energy. This class may be the perfect compliment and balance to your more active, yang practices.
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow: Vinyasa is the synchronization of breath with movement, in vinyasa classes postures are linked together in a continuous and challenging flow. Vinyasa is more than a simple set of physical maneuvers; the flow of the practice with the breath bring together the internal and the external. The practice engages prana, found within the breath, and leaves the practitioner feeling energized, centered and more connected with their Higher Self.
Gentle Hatha Flow
Students are taught to move gracefully and effortlessly from one asana to another. The asanas dissolve into one another with grace and natural logic, flowing organically and symbolizing the natural flow of life, while "safely"in the postures students are encouraged to connect with their breath, practice stillness and awaken to the present. This Hatha yoga class is infused with a blend of sounds, specially selected to inspire and awaken our consciousness. Students are encouraged to listen with heart rather than mind. Our heart embraces the consciousness of the music and we can start to flow. Suitable for beginners, intermediate or more advanced students, this class will rejuvenate your physical body, discipline your m ind and awaken your spirit.
