OREGON CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSE
This course exceeds all firearms safety training requirements of Oregon?s concealed handgun law. Students will receive a certificate of completion which they can submit to the Sheriff?s office with their concealed handgun license application. Instructor certified by NRA and Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards Training (Police Academy). $65 for individual tutoring; $50 each for groups of five or more. Topics:
- Firearms safety, including gun handling and home firearms safety
- Identifying different types of defensive handguns and ammunition
- Care and cleaning of handguns
- Legal requirements for obtaining an Oregon concealed handgun license
- Legally carrying ? open or concealed, where allowed and not allowed
- What to do when you're armed and pulled over in a traffic stop
- Traveling to other states- reciprocity and recognition

This is a use of force legal/tactical course for CHL holders. Taught by a lawyer and police trainer; indispensable practical approaches to staying legal and out of harm's way. $65 for individual tutoring; $50 each for groups of five or more. Topics:
