I am a native Russian speaker and a professional Russian language instructor at one of the institutes in Washington DC. Over the years of teaching Russian I realized that there is no substitute for live conversation and instruction. Live interaction provides immediate feedback and dramatically increases fluency. I'm now offering live, online one-on-one Russian Language lessons via free Skype software. We will go over grammar, language structure, pronunciation and composition. I specialize in teaching diplomats, businessmen, international students, children and people who just want to learn to speak Russian.
Every student has unique needs and I design different and specific programs for each student. Depending on each student?s level I will design special program with personal and specific exercises and work on strengthening his or her weak sides. Each program includes grammar exercises, vocabulary exercises and, most importantly, life conversation. Prior to each lesson I e-mail the lesson and homework to my students.
I make extensive use of student specific tutoring plans that include using pre assessments and post assessments along with customized lesson plans. I believe that engaging the students and making learning fun is the key to success.
