This is the style that comes to mind when most people think about massage. The goal is relaxing the entire body and this is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Swedish massage is exceptional for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Deep pressure is generally not used with swedish massage.

Trigger points differ from acupressure points. Acupressure points are concentrations of energy or blockages of the body's energy pathways. Trigger points are physical phenomena that can be felt by touch.
The pain caused by trigger points may be the biggest cause of disability and loss of time in the workplace.

What to expect?
A 1-hour bodyworks session consists of 5 minutes of consultation, 50 minutes of hands-on bodyworks, and 5 minutes of dressing.
At the end of the bodyworks session, you will have the option to take a shower, we will provide you with the towel and a face cloth to use to wash the lotion / oils from your body.
