Currently, and in all my years as an administrative support professional, I work with companies large and small, providing outstanding office support and administrative assistance.

 

Two of my strengths are organization and scheduling. Organizing offices - from filing systems to calendar maintenance and more - is an “art” of mine, ensuring that people and things are where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be. From office trainings to nationwide travel coordination for several employees, my scheduling skills help my employers and clients immeasurably.

 

When it comes to computer skills, I have many. I use Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis and am quite proficient in them. From drafting correspondence to setting up databases and everything in between, these two programs are my “staples”, although I am also competent in other programs, such as PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, QuickBooks Pro, and many others.

As the Administrative Assistant at US-HC, I provide support in a number of different ways. I make travel arrangements for our team of housing inspectors nationwide and perform calendar maintenance and scheduling for that same team and, quite often, for the executives of the firm. My work requires extensive use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, along with Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer. Internet research and office correspondence are two activities with which I am quite familiar. In addition, I am responsible for printing and shipping various documents and ensuring that the “last-minute” details of travel, shipping, correspondence and general business activity are taken care of in a professional, upbeat manner.

At CFS, Inc., I was responsible for coordinating general office activities and providing assistance with HR functions. Maintaining personnel files, scheduling and conducting employee orientations, tracking certification expirations and general office filing were some of my major accomplishments. I was able to improve the ratings of our personnel audits during my time there, by ensuring that necessary documentation was present in our files. In addition to these activities, I performed routine office tasks, such as faxing, mailing, greeting clients, and answering phones.
