Company Description:
About Voice Lessons Weekly voice lessons are the best way to learn to sing in the most efficient and expressive way possible. They are not only about the voice, but about learning to interpret music and deliver a performance that will please an audience and leave the singer feeling as though they have communicated something. Voice lessons also work to develop musicality that they can feel in their own bodies and experience on a deep personal level. They are a great way to build confidence in teenagers and are a wonderful way to connect to music as an adult. | home | | services | | faculty | | rates, etc. | | contact | Who benefits from voice lessons? Everyone who is interested in music has something to gain from taking voice lessons. They are a wonderful way to improve vocal and musical skills. As a young teen, voice lessons helped me to improve my confidence, not only in musical and performance venues, but in all aspects of my life. Adults can learn valuable musical skills which can be a source of enjoyment for life. Because of the advanced technical skills taught in voice lessons, I recommend that lessons be taken by students ages 11 and up. Children under the age of 11 are welcome to try out lessons as well. Lessons will be given for a period of one month, after which the instructor and parents will decide whether or not it is beneficial to the child to continue. Individual children vary greatly. Some are very ready to start lessons by the age of eight, while others benefit more from piano lessons and participation in a children's choir until they reach a higher level of vocal maturity.
