Perform a wide range of systems administration and user services functions. Systems Administration:
•Administer users’ access rights to the different tools and resources.
•Keep operational all OPENNET related components.
•Perform daily systems administration tasks associated with managing Information Systems Center and support, off-site Local area networks, this includes identification of network, operating system, and application outages, rectification and/or escalation of identified stages, performing backups, adding/deleting network and e-mail users monitoring event logs and managing/modifying resource permissions.
User Services:
•Perform client and server hardware, operating system, server upgrades, releases, patches etc.and application installations including complete unit builds. Disaster recovery. (Users, databases and systems data restore and complete workstations rebuild).
•Perform training related to IRM systems and other program initiatives. Important during operating system and desktop application suite upgrades.
•Serve as acting FSN ISM in the absence of the regularly assigned FSN ISM and other systems related functions as assigned by the FSN ISM or IMO.
•Field and resolve customer requests for assistance with hardware, operating system, and application complications. Including desktop applications, printer maintenance, operating system malfunction, hardware malfunction, driver installation, system and mail profile issues, and questions relevant to procedures and practices. Assist users to the application of multi-media tools, hardware and software with particular attention to the ISC Multimedia center and shared Internet workstations. Use of digital technologies, scanning equipment, digital cameras, graphic applications, projectors, portable computers, etc.
•Support desk (Telephonic troubleshooting) for end users.
