Originally from France, Virginie's interests in healing began with art therapy, for which she trained at the University of Tours School of Medicine and in Neurology and Child Psychiatry departments of two hospitals in Paris. After immigrating to the United States, she undertook training in the practice of Scenar and Soft laser, FDA-approved form of bio-therapy widely used in different settings and hospitals for numerous health problems. She subsequently received training and certification as a Reiki practitioner in the Usui System of Natural Healing. In addition, since 1996 Virginie practiced meditation and received training in ways to provide spiritual care for people with serious health problems. Her current practice centers on Reiki work, Low Level (Soft) Laser, Scenar therapy, and personalized with aromatherapy and directed meditation.
