Professional Resume:
Professional tutoring and mentoring/leadership facilitation for many years, as well as substitute teaching for grade schools, instructing college level ecology classes, and several years of ESL instruction. Have worked mainly with students from grades 7-12, including "at-risk" teens. I offer a specialized program of directed goal-setting and life skills acquisition in addition to the tutoring. Think of it as tutoring plus mentoring. I have the student work a rewards based system of short-term and long term goals, and provide lots of stepping stones so that students can see their own progress and own their successes.
Tutoring specialties--- Maths up to College Algebra, Biology, Ecology, Spanish (I speak very well and have lived in several Spanish-speaking countries), ESL. Other subjects can be accommodated.
I will drive to you! Prefer within 10 miles of College Area, or in east county. Additional charge may apply for longer distances.
