Hello
I have been teaching French privately to individuals and groups as well as in respected language schools since 1990.
I speak 4 languages fluently thus have a keen sense of how the mind processes language and have developed my method accordingly.
I strive to incorporate both hemispheres of the brain in order to make the learning experience more 'natural' -- much like the way a child learns his/her mother tongue (I use a lot of visuals and audio stimuli for example.)
The learning environment is non-threatening and very lively. My method is very organic yet highly structured. I teach both adults and children, one on one or small groups. I also have experience in assisting graduate students with their thesis and papers (I helped a Yale Phd candidate with his Thesis on 18th Century French Literature )
I am based in Manhattan, but have clients across the globe, whom I teach on Skype.
I also teach accent reduction and beginner Italian.
