Am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance; practicing since 1970, and trained to teach by Ananda Marga Yoga Society at their Philadelphia training center. I have received hundreds of hours of mental health / stress relief training as a Residential Treatment Counselor and Crisis Phone Counselor in Arkansas.

Bally's & Philadelphia Sports Club in Philly, and the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences campus Staying Healthy gym (LR) & Philadelphia Hosp. as a private instructor. I have references from several private clients, both youth & adult. I'm experienced in teaching yogic practices to hyperactive children, and have used it as a natural high for alcohol & drug abusers. Smooth Yoga is an alternative to the power yoga, hot yoga & other high demand yoga forms. It is a Vinyasa (flowing) style incorporating aspects of meditation, and breath control which are some of the other limbs of traditional yoga as codified by Patanjali in its origins.
I usually give handouts of the yoga asana (stretching exercises comfortably done)sequences to students, and break down my sessions into 10 - 15 minute bits of standing, sitting, floor & balancing poses. I also pass out short 30 sec. - 2 minute breath practices for stress relief & energizing.
I have designed programs for post-op cases such as heart patients, knee surgeries, etc. These are reviewed / approved by the individuals doctor.
