Professional Resume:
I have somewhat of an eclectic background. I started out my professional life as a computer programmer & trainer for Fletcher Industries, one of the largest corporations in New Zealand. I immigrated to the US in 1984 and transitioned into a short Real Estate career which later merged into an eighteen year career as the owner of Tucana Financial, Inc - a financial brokering company. The threads that tie all these careers together are my gifts for clear thinking, research and organization.
As a girl of 12, besides organizing all my mum’s kitchen drawers and rearranging my room on a regular basis, I put my research skills to use to sell copper tubing for extra pocket money. I love to research and investigate and my organized and clear way of thinking helps me create presentations that are easy to understand and navigate.
I often used organized paper trails when working with underwriters as a way of successfully proving a client’s credit worthiness and later when I divorced my husband I used this same concept of an organized paper trail as a way of refuting his many lies. Because my attorney had the evidence he needed at his fingertips, he was able to do a superb job for me and, as a result, I got the settlement I was requesting.
A bit about me personally:
I'm a student of personal growth, yoga, qigong and higher wisdom. At age 7, while my friends were reading novels, I was reading Plato. I love hiking, skiing, sitting in the sun and almost anything that gets me outdoors, especially if my dog can come with me. In contrast I also love to cozy up on the sofa with a soft blanket, good book or movie and since I'm from New Zealand, the essential cup of tea .
