over the years, having received many massages, it became apparent that not all sessions were alike. some massages were deeply healing and satisfying, while others seemed to lack any focus or care. i longed to find the ideal therapist, who would take the time and care to not only listen to my list of aches & pains, but would then be intuitively guided by what i truly needed during the massage, assisting my body's natural desire to heal. inspired by ghandi's advice to "be the change you want to see in the world", i have devoted my massage practice to providing just this kind of focused, therapeutic bodywork, and in bringing together & working along-side other like-minded, passionate therapists. hailing from new zealand's pristine shores, i have a penchant for all things natural and organic. during my own pregnancy, i became astutely aware how many chemicals i had unwittingly been putting into my body through the various lotions, shampoos, deodorants, nail polishes etc. i had been using. the health & well-being of my daughter motivated me to seek organic alternatives to the substances i was using on my skin, and most especially with massage lotions and oils. as anything we put on our skin gets directly absorbed into the blood stream, i felt it ethically irresponsible to massage using anything other than organic product - most especially on women during pregnancy. i feel very blessed to have my life-work dedicated to helping others to heal. i look forward to reminding - or perhaps introducing you - to how great you can feel... in body, in mind and in spirit. namaste.
