Tammy McNair, CEO of MBT, has been a stylist for over 15 years, starting at the youthful age of twelve as a shampoo assistant, to serving as an apprentice at age 15, to currently operating as a full service professional cosmetologist. She was inspired by her sister, Toni DuVall, who lovingly guided her into the world of cosmetology. Her inspiration has allowed for Tammy to explore further in what this business should bring. She took her skills to the next level when she began traveling as a celebrity hairstylist in 2001. Then in 2005, she started McNair Beauty Team, LLC., with the help of her respective other, KD (member of R&B group Prophet Jones). With all of her experience she is guiding and creating a power team. Tammy has worked with several celebrity entertainment artists such as; being a personal hair stylist for Sisqo, Lil Bow Wow, Backstreet Boys tour, the female vocal group Lovher, Prophet Jones, and music video vixens Melyssa Ford and Gloria Velez,etc... Her work has been exhibited on both television and videos such as: Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, BET Awards, Kids Choice Awards, MTV Spring break, Top of the Pops (TV show in London), 106 & Park, Sisqo's "Thong Song"remix video,"Dance for me", as well as Lil Bow Wow in the video, "Where the party at". She has traveled many places as a free-lance hair stylist including London, France, Germany, Japan, Norway, Greenland, Caribbean, Sweden, Ireland, and over 35 states in the U.S. and Canada. Tammy's styles have been publicized in print material, such as Hype Hair, Black Hair, Seventeen Magazines and in Razors Edge Magazine. She developed and perfected her skill never excepting mediocrity. With her experience she is able to lead a team of the best. Around the world people have loved her cheerful personality and that has allowed for her to meet and network with people in the entertainment industry.
