To Whom it may concern,
I am currently seeking a new and more fulfilling full-time Personal Trainer position. My certification is through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have worked as a Pro-Trainer at New York Sports Clubs for a total of over 7 years. Through my formal training I have learned to recognize postural distortions and correct them through flexibility and light-resistance training. Over time I have developed a range of training approaches appropriate for every type of client -- ranging from the elite athlete to the person who sits behind a desk all day and wants an improved quality of life. My background and personality will help me to be a contributing member to any training staff.
My training philosophy is focused on strengthening the client from the inside out. If a client does not have a good foundation or spinal support/strength, he or she will have a harder time achieving their goals. In addition, good structural support greatly reduces the risk of injury, both, on the field or in the office. By training clients to activate their ?Stabilization System?, the client will gain better control of their bodies and are able to achieve their goals more easily and without injury.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Pace University and have several years of sales experience with a leading research and publishing firm. This business background and experience often provides insights that assist me in successfully maintaining long-term and mutually profitable client relationships in the fitness industry
Besides my work as a professional trainer, I am an active lacrosse player on the Wilton Noreasters and coach the Varsity Lacrosse Team at Immaculate High School in Danburry, CT. Lacrosse is my passion and an important outlet for my competitive nature.
