As Territory Manager for 4 years (?06-?10) I was responsible for all operations of running a profitable territory that included all employee scenarios, adding new sales, forecasting of labor and territory budgets and implementing them to ensure success and accuracy, responsible for servicing existing accounts, equipment inventory and repair, completing weekly and monthly reports along with a plethora of others and whatever else that needed to be done. When hired, the territory was broken and hemorrhaging accounts due to poor leadership; sales were about 280K then after corporate restructuring in July ?09 where I was made a sales representative the territory total sales were about 450K and was profitable. As a sales representative my only responsibility was to sell and assist the territory manager in building new accounts to ensure territory profitability. For some unforeseen reason my position was eliminated and I was terminated due to a poor economy and sales erosion. With the company being 20 million in the red; corporate vice presidents apparently needed to save money wherever they could.
