In her previous 15 year career as a Sales Professional representing various technologies, she was laid off a total of 6 times due to failed Dot Com Start-Up companies or a company acquisition where most of the work force was laid off. She had to reinvent and sell herself again and again each time she looked for new employment. A few years ago while in between one of these layoffs, a few of her friends started to point out to her that she might want to consider becoming a coach. They expressed to her that she is someone who has the openness, faith and courage to keep transforming, finding new skills and experiences; someone who is a great listener, astute, passionate, is a confidant, and one who is true to herself. After recognizing that the pattern of layoffs was possibly a message from the universe that her friends were right, she decided to make it official and became a Life Coach.
Her inspiration for wanting to help others comes from her own life experiences where she uses her intuition to see the possibilities for others even when they can't. From her acting, improvisational and stand-up comedy training she learned about the power of our emotions and how we can use them to our advantage. She empowers her clients to use their own unique way of taking some of life's biggest challenges, questions, and concerns, by creating a new perspective and turning them into opportunities. The ultimate goal is for her clients to be able to say, "Today is perfect and I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I now understand my value as a person and I love my life!" As human beings, we have been given the power of choice. She believes that although we may have inherited certain traits, it is up to us if we let it control our destiny. In partnering with her clients, they go through a discovery process where limiting beliefs, negative emotions, and old habits are set free. What is then revealed, that was once hidden under layers of perceived reality, are those talents and gifts ready to be expanded upon and shared with others.
She is also certified in TIME Techniques, trains her clients to use EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and is a Certified Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. By taking this powerful attitudinal assessment, you will learn how you are currently showing up energetically and how that strongly impacts your personal life and your work life. She is inspired to contribute her time towards her further education and involvement in the life coaching community, by having served as an ICF LA Board Member as Membership Director for the 2009 calendar year. To be a contribution to young women internationally, she went to China in May of 2010 as a founding facilitator for a year-long leadership program called The World Academy for the Future of Women.

Alanna Levenson is not only trained as a Certified Professional Coach by iPEC Coaching, but is also certified as an Master Practitioner in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Hypnotherapy through Transform Destiny. Using an organic transformational process, and the fundamentals of the Law of Attraction with a scientific twist, she coaches her clients one-on-one, by phone, Skype and in person. She also conducts ongoing workshops and is available to customize workshops for various groups. Depending on the needs or requests of her clients, her sessions encompass the use of powerful coaching principles and techniques, NLP tools and Hypnosis for a particular issue. She strongly believes in creating awareness of how the unconscious mind works, so her clients can use to that their advantage. She has worked with clients as young as 10 and as experienced as 80, addressing many issues that include: finding one's purpose; pursuing a career change; motivation and inspiration; obtaining financial stability and thinking abundantly; changing undesired behavioral patterns to healthier ones; enhancing relationships and identifying those that are congruent with who they are; and being able to love oneself and others again following a divorce or a break-up. Using her Sales background from the internet world and now marketing herself as a coach, she is also a great coach in teaching others to practice successful sales, networking, and marketing techniques. Two powerful questions she feels everyone should ask themselves is, "Who am I now?" and "Who do I want to be?" The coaching process is a safe place to do that. Alanna also helps the client come up with just the right size actionable steps for them to move in that direction.
