 Glow on the Go is independently owned and operated by a Licensed Esthetician.  With many years of esthetic experience and prior experience in the medical field,  I have been able to fully understand the skin and it’s functions.  With that I have seen first hand what sun exposure can do, and the harm it causes.  That is why I am passionate about giving people beautiful skin as well as a gorgeous tan, without risking any negative side effects. I provide different strengths of chemical peels to address premature signs of aging from prior sun exposure.

Mobile Airbrush Tanning ~

Airbrush tanning is the safest alternative to achieving that golden glow we all desire.  Luckily, advancements in the sunless tanning industry have perfected the ingredients to deliver the perfect tan.  No more streaky orange messes. Airbrush tanning is great for any occasion while optimum color can be achieved in just one treatment.

A sunless tan does not involve the production of melanin like a natural tan.  Instead, the solution used in most self-tanners contains DHA (Dihydroxyacetone,) a sugar molecule that creates a tanned appearance in the upper layer of the skin called epidermis.  This stimulates a chain of chemical reactions that causes the cells in the upper epidermis to turn brown.  This process takes about 2-4 hours.  The intensity of the color depends on the level of DHA, and the amount of amino acids (proteins) in the skin.  A sunless tan lasts about 5-7 days-the average life-span of the outer epidermis.

Skin Rejuvenation~

Chemical peeling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin which is typically performed on the face, neck or hands. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to "blister" and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. This type of treatment is ideal for the previous "sun worshipers," that have unfortunately accumulated discoloration and fine lines.  It is also ideal for someone with an un-even texture to their skin due to scarring and breakouts. Various peeling agents have been used for the last 50 years and are exceptional in delivering a more refreshed appearance.
