I have a small base of clients that I work with in my spare time. I’ve been doing Computer Repair work part time since I was 15, so for more than 10 years now. I’ve learned everything I know from on-site work experience and research on my own time.
I have a Degree in Computer Science from UCR which does help for the deeper theory and knowledge of how technology works, etc.
I also currently have a full time job in the IT field, one that gives me pretty free range of what I do day to day. When I’m not managing day-to-day operations, I spend time learning new technologies and researching new technology solutions for my company, which in turn expands my knowledge on the Computer Repair and Consultation side, and allows me to keep up-to-date on emerging technologies.
