I currently freelance as an ESL tutor for children and adults, I have over a decade of experience, and I specialize in aiding those who speak tonal languages such as Chinese, Filipino, & Japanese but am also extremely proficient and have extensive experience coaching European, South American, & African natives. It doesn't matter if you have recently arrived or have been here for years and are simply looking for a little more clarification in your pronunciation . . . I can help you.
I have taught for more than 10 years in one-on-one settings and small groups of up to 6 and instruct in both conversational (spoken) English as well as written grammar. My rates are reasonable and negotiable based upon the number of people in a session. Sessions are available in hour or half-hour time increments.
I am an intelligent and hard working individual with a positive attitude, and I always go the extra step to ensure that my students possess a thorough understanding of the English language from both grammatical and conversational perspectives while consistently and progressively aiding them in building a superior vocabulary.
With the understanding that every ESL student must be approached from their skill level, I tailor a program to the individual whether tutoring one-on-one or in a small group setting.
