Interested in a position where I can use my Spanish and  Italian language skills:

 Spanish native speaker, born in New York City, raised in Puerto Rico.

Have traveled extensively throughout Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

Experience History:

For the academic year (2005 – 2006) did my student teaching at De Witt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY – the same high school I graduated from.

While at DWC I worked with a teacher who was my mentor, under her supervision I taught the last three class periods of the day – Spanish Levels I and II and Italian Level I.

Also, mentored 3 students who were working individually doing more advanced Spanish class work.

Overall, student teaching was a great opportunity to get hands on experience. 

During the Argentinean Summer of 2006 – 2007 (Dec – Mar) while in Buenos Aires taught Spanish to foreign students at a local language school.

AAS Early Childhood Education (Bronx Community College, CUNY) June 1992.

BA Spanish (Lehman College, CUNY) June 2002 – (Major in Spanish, Minor in Italian).

MA Spanish / Middle and High School Education (Lehman College, CUNY) January 2009.
