Hello and Welcome!
Perhaps the best thing to know about me, is that long ago, I made a conscious commitment to live in TRUTH and INTEGRITY. So these principles guide every part of my life in small and in large ways. I realized that once I'd made that promise to myself, life didn't become necessarily easier, but I was more at peace within myself, and fear flew out of the window. This is not to say that I don't experience that initial place of fear. It's just that I don't take it as seriously as I used to. Instead, I become more creatively solution-oriented.
Ethnically, I am "Anglo-Indian." The Indian part is actually East Indian; and the Anglo part is really a mixture of French, Norwegian, English, and Irish. I've lived on three continents, and some of the major cities in the world including Karachi, London, Paris, Rome, Los Angeles, and Nashville. I've also lived in some smaller places like Celle Ligure, near Genoa, Italy, and Sonoma, California. Since 2000, I've been living on Amelia Island, in N.E. Florida.
Truly international by birth and experience, I feel that I can bring a wealth of insight to bear on any situation or circumstance. My professional career as an Alternative Therapies Facilitator, and Life and Relationship Coach, together with my personal journey, and spiritual calling, have all led me to also proudly call myself a MENDER OF BROKEN HEARTS! I am particularly interested in facilitating the healing of hearts broken in childhood.
In 1985, I embarked on a journey of training in a number of Complementary and Alternative Well-Being Practices including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Metamorphosis, Holographic Memory Resolution, Thought Field Therapy (TFT) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). I completed my Personal and Business Coaching training with Coach U in 1997, and taught classes for them. I am also an Advanced Metabolic Typing Adviser. In addition, I’ve created an Expressive Arts facilitation program; many workshops and seminars; and published a health and wellness magazine.
I have also worked in the following fields: international tourism; film, television, and commercials; the recording industry; artist management; apparel design; magazine publishing; speed dating; real estate; mortgage brokering; and marketing.
My coaching clients come from diverse walks of life including the worlds of finance, allopathic and alternative health, administration, sales, technology, non-profits, small businesses, the government, restaurants, farming, homemaking, those returning to the workforce, song publishing, artists (actors, dancers, painters, writers, stylists, musicians, singers, songwriters, photographers), athletes, and other coaches. I’ve worked with clients in the U.S., as well as in Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Over the years, I’ve studied many Spiritual Traditions and Esoteric Teachings. I am passionate about the I Ching and Feng Shui, and use the wisdom of these ancient philosophies to help create harmonious energy and environments. The Slow Food movement and its off-shoot organizations also inspire me to live my life differently.
I’ve had the pleasure of being around many extraordinarily talented singers and songwriters in my personal and professional life. In January 2006, The Songwriting Muse started inspiring me, and I began writing songs. I love the process, and write, play guitar, sing every day! Well, that's me. What's your story?
