The term ""Renaissance Woman" might best be used when describing Cynthia Jervey, a recipient of the Los Angeles American Society of Interior Designers' Dorothy Petersen Award. Before embarking on interior design, she was an Emmy- and award-winning soap opera writer. After finally deciding to follow her passion to the world of interior design, Cynthia immersed herself in all aspects of education and graduated from the UCLA Extension, where she is now also teaching and has been for a number of years. Known for her signature "Simple, Sophisticated Elegance" style, Cynthia takes her work very seriously and pays particular attention to the safety and health impact that interior design has on her clients in regard to selection of materials used and so on. It's this kind of commitment and fierce dedication to her clients that has made Cynthia the go-to interior designer in the Los Angeles area. Along with her work for CJ Design Group, education and giving back continue to be important to Cynthia. Her recent work for - and the spearheading of - the restoration of the Beverly Hills showcase estate, historic landmark Greystone Mansion, has been applauded by her peers.
