Throughout my career, I have held a wide variety of contract and full-time accounting and management positions with both large and small companies. I have had experience in payroll accounting, the creation of analytical spreadsheets and integrated workbooks, system analysis, audit and reconciliation, management of research grants and funds,  Federal DOD grant compliance, regulatory reporting, SOX (404) compliance internal controls, segregation of duties and system processes, system risk analysis and data integrity, mitigating or compensating internal controls, inter-company transactions, oil and gas accounting, case billing, federal tax preparation for individuals and corporations, budget planning and preparation of financial statements. Maintaining Business Warehouse (BW) queries, structuring profit/cost center hierarchies. Conversion and implementation of data into Bolo land management system, DOI processes, and building Gwiz report queries.

     I am well versed in the usual accounting software and information technology used by the accounting profession, in design and formatting as well as interpretation. In addition, I can promise you a highly motivated employee with a keen interest in improving the functioning and efficiency of the accounting systems on which I work.

    I am currently engaged with various sources, and groups broadening my knowledge on the upcoming convergence of US GAAP to IFRS. Becoming a member of the IFRS forum group, along with registering with the IASB for project updates, I am gaining the type of practical information as it relates to my targeted role in accounting.
